The Museum, the first of its kind in the history of Ayurveda, narrates the story of its richness, variety and evolution, through a slew of media including artifacts, sculptures, scriptures and pictures. A section Susrutha, 3D gallery and digital library are added attractions to showcase the developments in the manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines and treatment techniques evolved over the ages. It is a landmark undertaking ingeniously designed to provide an audio – visual tour of the age – old history of evolution of this science to the visitor. The museum was and was inaugurated by A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India in 2013.
