This waterfall is located in Wildlife reserve and reaches the Peechi dam. The name ‘Kallakunnu’ is said to be derived from two thieves, Peeru and Shekhandan who used to hide in this area after thefts. The waterfalls reach down taking three channels. It is risky to walk through slippery rocks, but gives a unique trekking experience.

  • From Vaniampara onThrissur – Palakkad highway, one can take two routes. One can travel via Kombazha route or Vaniampara route and travel 1.5 km northwards to reach the falls.
